The water of this river takes its source and meanders in the heart of 3 big parks of Ecuador (Sumaco, Cayambe-Coca and Antisana).
The region is famous for its biodiversity and its incredible birds!
The Quijos River is well known to kayakers and whitewater sports enthusiasts as it hosted the World Rafting Championships in 2005.
Starting at an elevation of 1700m on the Cosanga River, this section of river offers exceptional scenery, continuous rapids and fun for the whole family (12 years and older)
If the water flow does not allow the activity to be carried out on the Quijos River, an alternative route can be used on the Cosanga River in order to keep the activity safe.
